Into The Mist
Following the tragic loss of their father, 19-year-old twins Nadia and Aidan Wright's world is turned upside down. Unable to cope with the death of his beloved father, Aidan slips into a deep depression, while Nadia takes it upon herself to care for her grieving family. One night, Nadia discovers her heartbroken brother drunk and crying. To offer her twin some comfort, she joins him on a late-night stroll to their town's pride and joy, a Viking runestone.
Little do they know this seemingly innocent walk will change their lives forever.
When the twins touch the ancient stone, they are thrown back in time to 880s England, a violent period that will put their survival skills to the test. In this unfamiliar world, Nadia and Aidan must work together if they hope to make it home. But with danger lurking around every turn, will they find a way to escape this unforgiving era?
The Black Exotic
In 1888 Colorado, 19-year-old Myra Barnett is the daughter of a Black ex-union soldier, rancher father, and former enslaved teacher mother. When a deal with some shady individuals goes awry, the ranch comes under jeopardy. Things go from bad to worse when her mother is dropped by one of her highest-paying clients. With nothing bringing in income, the family finds themselves in desperate need of cash. With no other option, Myra decides to sell herself to The House of Exotics, an upper echelon brothel that specializes in “exotic” prostitutes.
